Brian Nadworny has been creating and selling art and wood art for over 40 years. He claims he is not that old – he has just been creating for that long. In the 1970s and into the 1980s he played with the concept of separating images into colors and shades on different mediums, mostly textile. Later on, he combined it with his love of wood-working. The techniques used are very time consuming, yet he finds it very relaxing when trying to figure out the details of creating these masterpieces. Assembling several hundred pieces of wood to form the image is fun for him. "I always liked jigsaw puzzles and completing the picture is like putting a 250 piece puzzle together. The finished product always amazes me. It is like looking at an optical illusion with the wonder of a child thinking how could have looked any different to me before?"
